Personal Bankruptcy: How does it work?
People that I meet with in our Mississauga and Brampton offices usually are having some sort of financial difficulty. Generally the financial difficulties are the result of a job loss or marital breakdown or business failure. Most realize that they have debts they can no longer pay and creditors are calling and threatening to garnish their wages or seize assets.
When I meet with people, we review their financial situation and discuss various options for dealing with their debts. One option is bankruptcy.
